I was reluctant to go to this Angelina as I didn't anticipate that it would be like the Angelina on Rue de Rivoli in Paris, but it was so similar -- down to the slow/disorganized service -- lol. In truth, the service here was a little better than in Paris. The decor, menu and preparations all seem to be the same as their original in Paris. We were there in between office and restaurant for diner. Did not have time this time to have there outstanding real thick chocolate, but enough to have their Millefeuille (great crispy) and the chesnut speciality.

I have visited the bakery on Lexington Ave. Very expensive and very exclusive delicately made French masterpieces. The hot chocolate that they are known for is very rich. I just tried a little shot size cup of it and was fully satisfied. They sell great sandwiches and salads too. Excellent spot near Lenox Hill Hospital.
