We had meatballs and calamari as an appetizer. And then split a full size pizza. The waiters were attentive. My water glass was never empty. They have great beer on tap. And it was overall a fantastic experience. I will rave about their sauce for a moment. As an Italian, who grew up in New York, I can honestly tell you that they do it right. I couldn’t stop sticking pieces of bread or pizza crust into whatever sauce I could find.
It's light enough to eat with light pizza dough. It's hard to give a detailed review since I went alone and ate only pizza. Pizza toppings are made by adding one topping at a time as an additional charge. For me, it wasn't so delicious as this. Brooklyn Tap beer was good
My best friend and I traveled from Washington D.C., just to try the pizza from this place. It is excellent, 100% recommended, a very clean establishment, a very friendly staff, 10 out of 10. Thanks so much, Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria.
