A hole on the wall place for locals, the food is delicious and inexpensive as if inflation doesn't apply here.No customer service mentality whatsoever, on the phone in front of us while ppl are waiting, place is disorganized, like doing barely minimum to pass city inspection, so this is more for takeouts.Egg tarts sold out quick than a New York minute so come early, better before 9 am!

A spot for locals and the brave tourists who venture to the area! Classics like pineapple bun and roast pork bun. Not the combo offered by my other favorite Chinatown bakery. For early risers, this place is open by 430am and those who know come here for the fresh baked/steamed goods and Chinatown coffee milk tea drink.

Incredible tea, baked goods, and Lo Mai Gai (sticky rice stuffed with chicken, sausage, quail egg, all wrapped in lotus leaf). Not a ton of seating. I usually get a lemon iced tea with one sugar.

I might have found the best Lo Mai Gai in the city other than from Fay Da!! The only thing we don't love is that the chicken has bone inside, but I guess dark meat makes it more flavorful?

My favorite thing about adventuring in chinatown is all the cheap but good eats! When I see a good deal, I can't resist. The bakery isn't fancy frills, its straight-forward old school. Anpanman has been around for awhile, boyfriend used come here back in his ny grade school days. . We stopped by and picked up some pastries, despite the low prices. There was a good selection of pastries to pick from. I love their, Hong Kong Style Coconut Tarts. Moist and full of flavor. The dan gou is also good, not too sweet and not too dry. Service; The lady who works behind the counter is always so sweet and helpful. :) * The pineapple buns were sold out when we came in the afternoon. Hopefully we can try that next tine.

I love this cafe for their baked goods and selection of drinks! They have delicious savory buns and sweet ones too. My favorite is their drinks, especially the milk tea, which always just hits the spot. I love that the taste of the tea isn't lost & really shines through. Also, they use CRUSHED ice which is an instant bonus lol The sweet lady who runs the counter is so friendly and it's always a pleasure to see her.

Growing up, my mom only came here for iced tea. And to be honest this is the best tea I've ever had!

Feels like real China. Definitely a best kept secret of locals. Was open at 4am and running full swing. Prices are low and quality is good. Green jasmine tea $2 (light flavor) Lo Mai Gai $2,5 (rice and meat plate) abundance of pastries starting $1.

Really delicious Lo Mai Gai (sticky rice with meat inside) for $2.50! I had to wait 10 minutes but it came out hot and fresh. The teas are also pretty dirt cheap here (I got the honey lemon iced tea for $2).Come with cash!

Look you have to give 4 stars for being open crazy early and it's an insider place. Never comes up in a yelp search mostly because the time is wrong. I always forget where it is. Today I bookmarked it. Maybe Yelp doesn't list Chinatown coffee shops? It should co e upunder tbe following searchesBakeryEateryCoffee TeaBunsDim sum

Had coffee and tarts from here. It's one less expensive options in the area and tastes great. Place is always crowded with local folks.

This place used to make good coffee. I haven't been there for awhile, maybe the owner has changed, they have the worst coffee now.
