We stumbled upon Aria’s Wine Bar while exploring the area and looking for a place to eat without a reservation. To our luck, they were able to seat us outside right away. It didn’t seem like there was any issue getting outdoor seating—perhaps because it was late October and a bit chilly—but we didn’t mind at all. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to every table.
Our waiter (I wish I could remember his name!) was especially wonderful. He was friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. We told him we wanted to enjoy some drinks and small plates, and he guided us perfectly.
We ended up ordering all of his suggestions, and every dish was fantastic. The fried calamari was crisp, perfectly seasoned, and had great texture. The prosciutto with burrata drizzled in truffle oil was rich and flavorful. And to finish, the tiramisu was heavenly—soft, creamy, and exactly what I was hoping for.
For drinks, my wife enjoyed a glass of wine, and I had a refreshing mojito—both were excellent complements to our meal.
Overall, we had such a lovely experience and can’t wait to return to try the main dishes next time. Thank you, Aria’s Wine Bar, for a delicious and memorable evening!

We were 3 of us visiting from CA, our local friend took us here. We had a GREAT time. Our server Angel ( Angelito) did a great job. Always accommodating our requests. Food delicious. We had great Italian wine from Toscana region. UPDATE: On Monday September 8, 2025 we went again and we were not disappointed. Our server, Daniel was superb. He was professional, knowledgeable, great personality and took good care of us. The food was delicious. My daughter ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, it was super delicious. We can't wait to go back again in our next visit to NY.

Aria in the West Village is a great wine bar. The location is easy to locate and has indoor and outside dining. Daniel made our evening enjoyable and pleasant. The menu offered a variety of dish's the octopus salad was my favorite. And of course the variety of wines offer a delight to any guest. I highly recommend.

As a regular, I must say my experience last night was exceptionally outstanding. I brought Two friends of mine from Puerto to experience eating fine Italian food carbonara pizza was delicious, but those lamb shanks AKA Oso buco with risotto was phenomenal. They were super satisfied and impressed with the food and the service.
