Did the 7 course for Vday and was not worth it . Prior to our resy, manager said there was going to lamb chops etc on the menu , wasn't none . And was looking forward to since that's my fav! . Also on their iG , first course was calamari ceviche and turns out was not calamari . Another 1 of my fav! Major upsetting part was while on phone with manager ( Roman) trying to secure seat for tasting menu , 2 weeks prior , told him it's my 10year anniversary and was hoping to be special and he said he'll make a note of it and will make the desert special . Nothing ... $220pp was not worth it. Should have not booked the pre fixe menu . Was really hoping to see if artesano could be better than (mission ceviche) with both being same cuisine but nowhere close to it . Maybe cause it was pre fixe menu .. maybe we can give artesano another try from the regular menu but who knows.. just disappointing on a special day for us to spend over $550 for nothing . Just really mind blowing to spend that much and expectation should be higher . & Guest was walking out with a special box , I believe was given cause it Vday and nothing for us when we left . But this is not to have a bad review , this is just our experience here . Hopefully we can return and actually try the food and see if it's better than mission ceviche or not .

Everything was delicious, amazing except the dessert which was definitely not worth $22. They need a new dessert carte. It's bad, it didn't have a chocolate mousse as it said in the description and the ice cream did not melt????

Best ceviche in nyc, took over the Mission Ceviche in my list as a Peruvian person.

Amazing Peruvian restaurant! The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a great atmosphere. I’ve honestly never tried anything like this before — a truly unique experience. Highly recommended!

We celebrated my birthday at Artesano, and I have no words to describe the amazing time we all had. From the seating to the ambiance and service, everything was perfect. The food was out of this world and the atmosphere was amazing. I will totally come back very soon for their tasting tour. Renzo was a great server, he made my night very special.

Lovely experience and very surprising flavours. The dishes were well executed and you can see the technique and the fusion of traditional culinary and modern twist. The restaurant was perfect for our group of 5.

Interesting spot for a first visit. The $140 7-course menu (no sharing) is a downside—you want to try before committing. The fish ceviche was a 9/10, though as a Peruvian, the tomatoes threw me off. Seco was good but not worth $48, and the gnocchi shouldn’t be on the menu. Fruit flies flying around were annoying. Red flag for me or would have been easy 4 stars.

The arroz de mariscos (ink risotto) was just okay—needed more seafood and flavor. Truffle yuca huancaína fries were great. Classic and passion fruit pisco were both on point. Service was solid.

Paid $382 for two.

The prices are just insulting, no justification for it and I regularly go to fine dining restaurants. $48 for lomo saltado? Pathetic. Service went from taking 15 minutes to even bring us water to feeling the need to over-explain every dish like we were toddlers. Overall meh ambience, just corporate as hell with little substance. Food was still good at least, but given the above thats the bare minimum.

The food was horrendous. Barley any flavor. Portions are small and my main thing was you can’t substitute things in the plate. I do not like beans or peas of any sort and every plate i wanted had peas and i was told it could not be substituted only removed. Then my plate tasted like it was burnt. 0/10 food the atmosphere is the only thing good about this place.

Artesano serves upscale Peruvian cuisine in an upbeat modern environment. The quality and flavor combinations were consistently excellent from dish to dish based on 7 different dishes. I can confirm that the product is worth the price tag. The dessert was the cherry on top, left me speechless.

Food was amazing- fresh and delicious and creative without being overly pretentious. Staff was attentive and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the menu but not overbearing.

Woww Thanks to the Artesano team for making our experience so great! Kudos to the hospitality and friendliness they provide! Food was amazing! Seeing the open kitchen and watching the food being prepared with detail makes it so special! The drinks were delicious and I can't wait to go back for the Chicha Sour!
