ICCA’s Italian kaiseki was amazing.
Every dish was beautifully crafted, and even the sauces were memorable. I tried Tokachi beef for the first time, and unlike wagyu, it was leaner and less fatty while still being incredibly flavorful.
Absolutely delicious.
Great experience - excellent Omakase!
The space is very intimate and private but the way the head chef handles the night also allows you to interact with the other patrons. The servers gave us really a really good recommendation on sake and they actually pay attention to any notes you have when you make the reservation.
Their home made ginger ale is the best I’ve ever tried.
The pace was perfect too
The abalone liver mixed with rice was the best!
Dessert was white asparagus ice cream...read full review

Icca, a restaurant that offers a unique blend of Italian and Japanese cuisine, continues to attract diners in the city with its incredible food and display of skill by the chefs. The ambiance is described as quiet and unassuming, yet inviting, providing a peaceful setting for a date night or a special occasion. The menu features a delightful tasting course, with dishes that are fun, made with high-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented.
Standout items include the cold pasta with tuna tartare and caviar, the apple compote and caramel mousse dessert, and the mackerel with truffle. While the tokachi herb beef and the red snapper fritto received mixed reviews, the use of vegetables throughout the courses was praised. The plum juice is also said to be absolutely divine.
For those seeking an omakase experience, Icca excels with its seasonal selections and impressive preparations by Chef Kazushige Suzuki and his fellow chef. Memorable dishes include the smoked young tuna, abalone liver sauce nigiri, rock fish shabu shabu, and sea urchin nigiri. The friendly and approachable staff members enhance the overall dining experience with great service, providing diners with valuable insights into the food being served. The sake pairing and wine selection are noted as spot-on, making it a highly recommended spot for an elevated dining experience with incredible food and great vibes.
