Reserved a table for 2 on March 24,2024 for dinner. They sat us at a table next to the bar and it appeared sticky, pieces of lemon and tissues were on the floor. Outlets needed repairs. I ordered lamb chops, mac/cheese which tasted like macaroni salad with melted cheese on top. Greens had no taste and the yams were bland. No butter, cinnamon or sugar. My sister ordered the catfish with the same sides and same complaints. Ordered a cup of hot tea which was room temperature. Spent over $150 and they add 18% for gratuity no matter how many ppl are with you. It’s definitely overrated, overpriced, The food isn’t fresh and the appearance isn’t appetizing. Rating =disgusting! It deserves 0 stars.

Everything was a 10/10 .COME HERE ! The service itself was absolutely spectacular. I went on a Wednesday night and they had on soft R&B. The stuffed shrimp with crab meat wasn’t over cooked and just the right amount, But that pan seared Chilean……Baaaabyyyyy Soooo Good and everything tasted sooo fresh ! 100% my new favorite place!SB: The bartender/server Terrell was a sweetheart and knowledgeable.

The energy of iconic duo Ashford & Simpson takes over this bar/restaurant on Friday with great live music, food, and people. Drinks/cocktails, soul food, are flowing as live talent performers sing their soul out on new music never heard before. Bring your family/date here if they love Motown and R&B music and if you love soul food too.

Fantastic spot, definitely try the fried pork and jumbo shrimp. Will be coming back for the music next time but was just in for a quick dinner before a show this time.

Food was good. Really small space. Live music was entertaining. Coat check, and a small door fee ( $20). I had blackened catfish with garlic mash. My cousin had fried chicken. We both agree food is good.

First timer... the space was great, staff awesome, but the food was not the best. Cooked well but not seasoned.I asked our server is it normally like this, she replied, "our regular cook is off tonight."Drinks were good, overall slightly pricey but not ridiculous. It is a good place for Happy Hour ????

My friends and I came here for brunch and were not disappointed. I had the jerk chicken wings and shrimp & grits, both of which were fresh and full of flavor. The staff were pleasant enough and the prices were fair. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area next.

Cover charge 15.00 mandatory 18% tip. Check your coat . Then pay 2.00 to get it back. Place looks dirty. Food was basic. At least I know where not to go again.

NYC in Bacccccccc .... Started the night with a Don Julio and Tonic that was made to perfection ... not for the light weights ... the waitress was very informative and punctual .... on to the appetizer had to try the calamari.... Not a bad dish ... just under-seasoned... (I'm from the south) .::: for my entree I had the lamb chop cooked medium well with the red wine Demi with garlic mash potatoes and plantains. The lamb was cooked perfectly .... And the wine sauce gave it a different twist... lamb is of my favs so take my word for it ... the mash potatoes was also good I did add a little salt ... but these plantains was AMAZING ... this meal with the live music was a plus ... overall a great night I could have used more seasoning but the food wasn't bad .. checc this spot out of you are in the NYC area

While the place is small-- it's actually the perfect cozy spot for entertainment. You really have a personal warm connection with other patrons and as a " people person" I dig that.. The waiters are fast and the food is amazing and the "railroad" style layout gives it some old school swag! Chicken & waffles: highly

I had the fried red snapper (with crab and shrimp on top) with mac and cheese and collard greens and the Street Corner cocktail. I also had the fried shrimp appetizer. Everything was delicious. I don't remember my waiter's name but he was great and I left him an extra tip in addition to the 18% that's automatically added to the bill. The restaurant is small and narrow and can get a bit congested around the entrance and bar area, particularly when people are coming in for the evening show. But other than that, no complaints. I'd definitely go back.
