We've been here almost 10 times in the past 6 months. The entire experience is truly excellent. All of the staff are fantastic — extremely kind and helpful. The food is 10/10 delicious — very fresh and perfectly garnished. We love the variety and differences in menu each time we come, and love how consistently excellent the food and service always is. This is a can't miss omakase.
This is an omakase only menu -- no a la carte.The food was excellent.However...Too many nigiri was brazed with a propane torch and brushed with a sweet sauce.If the fish is fresh, that's unnecessary.I get it. You're marketing to an affluent sector of the UWS. But... be true to the cuisine.I'll be back, but please offer an omakase without the unnecessary catering to the local palate.Raw fish is the entire point of the evening.Arigato, gochisosama des'
