Great find, food was good, only down side is we were stuck in a tiny back room with only 4 tables instead of the regular dining room. Not comfortable, but next time we will request only main restaurant
The brunch at sugar bar was just ok to me. I ordered the two pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon and hash browns. The pancakes were dry, lukewarm and they give you two cold butters that never fully melt onto the pancakes. The kraft syrup in a pack screams corner store breakfast for cheap rather than a high end black owned restaurant. Coat check is $2.00 cash only so make sure you carry cash. Our reservations were 12:00pm. There was no band at that time and only a few people sprinkled....
