I came for the famous roast chicken, and it did not disappoint, though it also didn’t particularly wow me. The skin was incredibly crispy, but there was nothing very memorable with the flesh. I found the entire dish a little greasy towards the end of the meal.
My wife and I went to Barbuto on a recent trip to NYC. We had seen many good reviews and we knew of Jonathan Waxman from our Top Chef fandom. The entire experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drink was of top notch quality and delicious. We were able to fill ourselves with three courses and brought dessert home.
