Had a delicious vegan pastry. I cannot remember the name of it but it was some sort of like chocolate cruffin with a creamy chocolate filling and a brandied cherry. The pricing was not bad for a vegan pastry either. I didn't notice any other vegan pastries but this option was good. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but a solid choice for a quick snack at the whitney.Dietary restrictions: Had one vegan pastry, clearly labeled.
The Einkorn Miche is probably one of the best artisan breads I've had in the city. The patisserie is up there with some of the best shops, even at an off hour. Very impressed with the quality for a museum cafe.

The Whitney got a major upgrade when Frenchette Bakery took the lead this winter. My favorite part is the wine list. When Jorge Riera, natural wine evangelist and sommelier sets the list, you get an amazing selection of wine. A very curated artistic collection of wine.
