Good Ambience and Service this part of the city. I'd go back again for good conversations with friends and drinks
Sushi anywhere else is ruined forever. That's how great this experience was. Each piece of Omakase was more and more phenomenal. The chefs are true artists and the attentive, familial service from Ria was just bar none, the best of the best. The atmosphere, view, and styling was so unique and high quality. The whole staff were so generous with everything they treated us with.

Amazing venue, but the food was not the best as there was an event on Valentine's Day whoch did not leave for many good options on the food menu

Saishin at Gansevoort Rooftop offers a mixed dining experience. While some guests have praised the delicious food and stunning rooftop views, others have reported slow service and inconsistent experiences. The restaurant's staff is described as accommodating and knowledgeable, with standout service from waitstaff who are courteous and thoughtful. The energy of the rooftop is fantastic, often enhanced by an amazing DJ. The main dishes, especially the Omakase, are highly praised, while the appetizers are generally considered okay.
The owner is known to be very kind and accommodating, even when the restaurant is fully booked. Guests have mentioned enjoying the ambience and the beautiful view. The octopus with orange in Greek yogurt sauce has made a strong impression, along with the palate-cleansing ginger. Overall, Saishin at Gansevoort Rooftop provides a lively and visually appealing dining experience, with the potential for both positive and negative experiences depending on the individual visit.
