Barn Joo 35 Reviews
Tasty hot pots. A lot of beautifully decorated deserts. Wings and rolls are great too
We’re planning to make it a tradition, whenever we’re in the city.
I went to Barn Joo 35 for lunch and was very happy with the food, service, and ambiance. The chili shrimp and the soy garlic wings were my favorites. My really enjoyed their galbi buns. I can’t wait to go back.

Barn Joo 35 offers decent food with small portions, although some find it slightly bland. The decor maintains NYC standard with a moon theme, and the restaurant is accommodating to large groups and elderly guests, providing outstanding service. The hot stone bowl bulgogi is a popular choice, even if some note it lacks flavor. Customers appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, with one server noted for her fantastic service. The lunch special comes with ample Banchan, and guests are encouraged to try the refreshing cucumber soju drink. Dishes like the seafood stone pot bowl, soy garlic dumplings, and uni bibimbap are highly recommended for their delicious flavors and perfect spice levels. The soy garlic dumplings are particularly praised for being super crispy, while the galbi jjim is also highly regarded. The restaurant is a favorite for celebrations and casual dining alike, with a casual and relaxed ambience. Guests can enjoy fun experiences like spinning a wheel for a chance to win a drink or item. The lunch specials provide good value, and the ribeye and short rib options are perfect for those looking to indulge. Customers note that getting food may take a little longer, so it’s best to allow extra time for dining.
