In my opinion the best pastrami sandwich in New York.
It is a neighborhood restaurant, not touristy, with traditional Jewish and American dishes. The service is excellent, the food healthy and tasty and the environment welcoming and warm. In a not very touristy area of New York but absolutely worth visiting

Without a doubt, the best bagel I've tried in the city.
Great quality smoked fish on a freshly baked bagel. The ambiance is an old style deli. It's cramped inside, especially over the weekend, but the staff is great, very fast and somehow it all runs smoothly.
Cash only!!! I didn't read the sign and didn't have any cash. The owner at the cash register was kind enough to keep my order on the side so that I could go withdraw some cash.
