Good tofu with black bean sauce. I ordered from the lunch special menu which starts at 11am. Everything on the lunch special menu is between $9.75 and $12 and most things are $10. I got tofu with black bean sauce and hot and sour soup for $9.75. The restaurant is take out only. Also you have to pay with cash. Great classic Chinese food !!!
Beijing is a takeout-only Chinese restaurant that serves well-cooked meals at a good price. The food is tender and not too salty, with a unique orange rice that comes with the dishes. The Hunan Beef Lunch Special is a great option, featuring a large meal with a side of white or fried rice and a soup, all for $9.75. The egg drop soup is fantastic, and the hunan beef is good with a solid spread of vegetables. While the restaurant may not be glamorous, it is a great deal for Manhattan.
