Whenever I have a training in this area, I come to BentOn for their great options. They have a box option with two mains and four sides but I always get 3 things twice. The tofu, the kale salad, and the burdock salad. It's always fresh and a clean place. The price is relatively low for the neighborhood which is typical overpriced Manhattan.
tl;dr - a solid choice for lunch. Preface: this review is for the bento/bowl part of the store (to the right when you go in) and not the ramen size (to the left). They act as two separate restaurants (search for Menya Jiro- Fidi on Yelp) and should be reviewed accordingly. I've gone a number of times now, and everything has been fresh and tasty. First time here. Clean. Has free parking structures nearby. Once you walk in you can smell the deliciousness. They have a lot on their menu which made it hard to decide so I guess I'll have to come back another time to try something else.
