Celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. I don’t eat beef/pork. I was served with variety of fish dishes and they were delicious. My first visit and hope to visit them again soon.

Had such an amazing time. Honestly this place deserves two Michelin stars. The service was tremendous. We were celebrating a friends graduation and everyone seemed to know. We did the vegetarian prefix and our friends had the normal menus. The vegetarian menu was fantastic and I never felt like I was getting a second class meal. Drinks were also top notch. Would recommend.

The food here is very good and a wide range of food for everyone. The service is exceptional as well. The only negative i would say and warn to those unsure with this restaurant is that the bill will be about 150 per person without drinks.

Hey Guys

Really disappointing experience, we were looking forward to a different level of creativity from a kitchen tied to the legacy of Blue Hill and sadly it really didn’t deliver, especially for the price compared to most tasting menus in this city. The service was mostly good but the execution of the concept really fell flat unfortunately.

First half of the meal was absolutely amazing. Second half with steak and pan fried fish was under whelming.

Absolutely thrilled to have discovered my new favorite restaurant in NYC! The vibe here is just so inviting. Amazing service with kind hospitality. Each dish we tried was a fun surprise, with flavors so refreshing and vibrant they truly made us reconsider how ingredients can come together to create something extraordinary.

This was arguably better than Blue Hill at Stone Barns, less intellectual and more focused on delicious use of ingredients - pretty much every dish was amazing and I love the family style sharing aspect. Great wine too.

Had an amazing meal here last night. Service was excellent - attentive but not stuffy. Food was top notch. We enjoyed every dish with a few of them being mind blowingly good. We also did the wine pairing - they give a generous pour so was worth it!!

*apologies in advance for the poor quality photos - the lighting wasn't conducive to capturing how brilliant and beautiful these dishes were. I was a bit hesitant going in as there were a few mixed reviews, and of course paying $145 pp, you want to be blown away. I had recently watched the Chef's Table episode on Dan Barber and was intrigued on the vegetable focus, farm to table tasting menu at Family Meal. Also, with the daily menu change you simply do not know what you'll be served. 2 hours later - I was blown away and amazed with the entire meal. The veggies served were unlike any veggies I have tasted before. The entire meal from start to finish was enjoyable. In addition, I was surprised how much fish and meat was served (for those worried about the lack of protein). Highly highly recommend this place. Well deserved Michelin Star, and of course the service matches that distinction. Honestly surprised this place isn't as hyped as it is.

3/10/24, Wasn’t impressed with the food/service. Was a fish heavy meal, (no poultry or beef) which was surprising. Didn’t think the fish was spectacular, none stood out. Took about 15 minutes for the waiter to introduce himself. Had to track down someone to order a cocktail. The dessert (dirt pie) was our favorite dish. Was ~$225 per person. Didn’t live up to expectations.
