Enjoyed dinner pre-show at the Jazz Rose Theatre. Oxtail miso soup—who kn? So good. Sushi/sashimi was excellent. Tuna was melt in your mouth. NA Yuzu-ginger beer was very tasty. Heartily recommend!
Exceeded expectations. For a fancy restaurant in NY it has a relaxed and attentive atmosphere. Many of the tables have privacy and the plates are priced so you don't mind ordering a lot to try.
This is our second time eating here. It is a great place to go for dinner prior to shows at Jazz at Lincoln Center since it's very close. They are known for their Japanese-style fried chicken -- basically fried chicken done in a tasty tempura style. My dining partner ordered it again after having it the first time we went there. I am more of a sushi fan, so I ordered a cucumber-wrapped eel and crab roll and edamame. We both had dessert. My green tea crème brûlée was unusual...
