Absolutely spectacular Bagel place on the UWS. We tried Modern, we tried Tal, we tried Absolute Bagels (now closed) and were happy that we found this amazing place, but sad that we did not find this sooner! Self-service options, extensive selection, quick service and most importantly - reasonably priced (Modern has good selection, but expensive and is closed on Sat. and Tal is just expensive). This will be our go-to place for bagels.

A good bagel, soft enough for anyone who doesn't like cream cheese or butter. Generous amount of salmon. $15 seems excessive for a sandwich, but what do I know, I'm not from here.

The food is good but they give me wrong other ! I ordered egg and bacon and corassont they gave me just cheese and bacon.
Had ordered an apple juice, which online is described as “freshly squeezed juice from crisp apples” , I was given a 11oz Tropicana bottled apple juice. False advertising. I will be getting a refund. Honesty should be at the forefront of your business practices.
Fast and friendly service!!

First time at this place. Loved that they have bagel options all day. The fresh squeezed OJ 🍊 was great! 🙂Will try the Asian/Thai menu next.

Prices online are different than in store. Manager was very rude. Also items on menu states served with fries. When I placed my order of a chicken ranch sandwich with fries for pick up I did not receive my fries and was charged 2.00 more than what is stated online. When the manager was called he stated the menu changed and “it was a long time ago babe” meanwhile I get my lunch from here every three days. If I could give negative stars I would. Very unhappy with the service I received.

High on my UWS bagels list! The service is great. They’ll customize anything you want (in my case, a BLT with light mayo on a plain bagel). Most bagel shops will do that, but in this case, it’s not sloppy and doesn’t feel random. They know how to customize right the first time.
My bagel was also really well wrapped which goes a long way for me.

was looking for a new bagel place after absolute bagel closed, happy to say that it’s a pretty good one.
ordered the egg bagel with scallion cc - I do wish the cc was more flavorful, and the bagel could be a little less hard to chew. aside from that, it’s good enough for me to return

Extremely kind staff! Super quick service with short wait times. Best bagels i’ve had in the city
Every neighborhood deserves a dependable bagel shop, and for me, Broadway Bagels plays that role beautifully. Their bagels have that perfect balance—chewy yet flavorful, hearty without tipping into dense brick territory. My go-to order is the everything bagel with green onion cream cheese, a combination that consistently earns its place as a star performer in the bagel world.
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room—or rather, the mountain: the cream cheese. Yes, they’re generous to the point of excess. It’s practically an architectural feat. I usually end up editing the portion myself, but on the bright side, it makes the bagel hearty enough to stretch into two meals. Efficiency and indulgence in one.
The one drawback is the absence of indoor seating. This isn’t a “linger with your laptop” type of spot. Instead, I take my bagel three blocks down to Central Park, which, truthfully, turns the whole experience into something rather idyllic. Bagel in hand, city all around, nature just ahead—hard to complain.
A neighborhood classic, and one I’m grateful to have nearby.
