I was super excited to go to this place because of so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't that good. I had managed to get a reservation, but we ended up moving our plans forward and arriving at the restaurant early. We managed to get a table after waiting a while. The problem was when we got there and saw how cramped the space was. You're generally crammed into the tables next to you, and there's no way to avoid hearing conversations, and...
Live this place. Perfect perching spot at the bar to watch the well-oiled team maintain the pace of service. The food is simple but luxurious with that ‘extra touch’ of tasty ingredients. Seating is cheek by jowl, service is brisk and friendly, but you don’t feel rushed there. Queue management is clear and charming and the 10 minute wait passed quickly.
