Covacha Reviews
I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece...read full review
Terrible customer service
The Brussels Sprouts are amazing. Tacos are great. I taught them how to make a great spicy margherita. Fantastic atmosphere.

Covacha is a charming restaurant with attentive staff and delicious, authentic Mexican food. The chicken enchiladas with dairy-free cheese and crema are highly recommended. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options like vegan cheese and crema, as well as mushroom enchiladas. Guests note that the enchiladas with mushroom "tinga" and plant-based crema are tasty, with the presentation enhanced by a small toothpick with a leaf to show the plant-based version. The birria and ash guacamole are beautifully plated and flavorful, making the slightly higher prices worthwhile. The menu includes tasty dishes like chicken flautas, which are crispy and nicely presented. The brunch appetizers, especially the empanada, are praised for their flavor and texture, although some guests feel portions are small. The casual lunch options are very vegan-friendly, with dishes such as Cauli Chicharron tacos and Yaka-Tinga jackfruit burrito being highly praised for their texture and seasoning. The restaurant is a great spot right behind the museum of natural history, offering quick and friendly service, with a special lunch menu that includes a sample of various items. On busy days, it can get crowded, but service remains prompt, especially during less busy hours. There is also wheelchair accessibility, and outdoor seating is available, although it is on the sidewalk. Overall, Covacha provides a tasty and welcoming environment perfect for a casual meal.
