We ate lunch late so not sure what noonday crowd like we were in process of going to tenement museum and came across this restaurant. Turned out to be a fine choice they only serve house wines and my wife said hers was dry but she likes German wines. The taste was probably closer to a Chardonnay . I was looking for a lager but ended up with a la Estrella which I had never had and was very good, not hoppy. My wife said her tomato basil soup was best she ever had. I will be coming back here for years! Good service, nice ambiance, and amazing food. I highly recommend the rosemary roasted chicken. Also, this place is roomy and spread out with lots of space between tables, unlike so many NYC restaurants where space is limited.

This review is for their take out only; ordered their Mardi Gras Mac with Short Rib, and it was okay. A bit on the bland side (strange, considering this is supposed to be Cajun food -- being from Louisiana, I know that this would be served *much* spicier there), but satisfying enough. I'm in no rush to try more of their food, but wouldn't say no if someone else insisted.
