About Café Sabarsky

Café Sabarsky offers a busy and energetic atmosphere with friendly service. While some dishes like spatzle and chicken paprika were hit or miss, the Feuilletine hazelnut mousse cake stood out. Customers highly recommend the Apple strudel and German wines. Despite long waits, the butternut squash soup, schnitzel, and sausages are must-tries. The sachertorte is a dessert not to be missed.

The Sacher torte is exceptional, even better than the original from the Sacher Hotel in Vienna. However, service can be inconsistent, and customers may have to wait a long time to get in, go through security checks, and dispose of water bottles. The pancake is surprisingly tastier than the Sacher torte, which some customers found to have a thinner chocolate layer compared to the original in Vienna.

The café offers an authentic Austrian atmosphere, with a quiet and tame vibe. The food, including the chocolate torte and latte, is exceptionally crafted and fresh, with no added sugar. The customer base tends to be predominantly older, which is to be expected for a café attached to a museum. Breakfast is only served from 9-11am.
