Caliente cab has been our favorite restaurant for over 15 years. We recently celebrated my 37th birthday and it was wonderful. We had a reservation of eight people which started at nine and fluctuated up and down, but I was able to still have my reservation. We initially had a 130 reservation and changed it to 2:30 PM. We were able to catch brunch which is over at 3 PM. You receive a full entrée and a full drink for $25. It was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic. I had a pineapple frozen margarita which was fresh and authentic. None of that nasty fake syrup. Also I had an avocado toast, bacon, egg, and cheese, which was wonderful with a side of cheese eggs which tasted like the eggs, my made. Also, the girls had steak and fries. I also had a French toast which to me was a little burnt, but the girls said it was glazed perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their drink my friend didn't care for the passionfruit margarita she said it was too sweet and opted for a mimosa. Overall, I love Caliente and we always return. I'm a picky eater, and I knew this place would be a great spot to celebrate my birthday cheers to 37 years.

What a new york institution this restaurant is! I discovered this place through a long time friend of mine . While club hoping in the village in the 90s this place was the place to be. And still is . At night this place lights up the area and new generation of people are still enjoying it . On my wife's birthday week we decided while in lower Manhattan to visit this place together .she worked nearby at one time and also had frequented this establishment having similar fond memories of Caliente cab Co .

4.5 starts if I could rate half a star. Overall great experience. It’s perfect for celebrating birthdays for a big group. Our party was 12 people and we were a ruckus but the service was great. Jesus, our server was great! Great place to celebrate birthday with a rowdy crowd.

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant, thanks to our waiter, Jesús. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. He checked in on us often without being intrusive, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out just right.
