We had a reservation but arrived early. We waited almost no time before we were seated by a gracious host. Our server was prompt and personable. The food was delicious and delivered unbelievably fast. Our invited out-of-town guest was duly impressed. A highlight of our trip.

A wonderful, popular spot!!! It is an iconic and delicious hot spot. Not a greasy diner, nutricious food, prepared well and with care. It is noisy and sometimes you have to wait. Make a reservation, it's quicker that way.

We went to the Carnegie Deli on Sunday before a matinee in the area. The place was very busy. I went to check in for our 12:30 reservation and was rebuked by the host because it was 12:20 and he told me he was not working on 12:30 reservations yet. He then yelled at me to “GO” and get out of the restaurant. I checked in again at 12:30 and we were put in inside the restaurant in a line where we waited to be seated.
