We went to the Carnegie Deli on Sunday before a matinee in the area. The place was very busy. I went to check in for our 12:30 reservation and was rebuked by the host because it was 12:20 and he told me he was not working on 12:30 reservations yet. He then yelled at me to “GO” and get out of the restaurant. I checked in again at 12:30 and we were put in inside the restaurant in a line where we waited to be seated. Food was great. Servers were awesome. Just a warning though. If you make a reservation on this app, Open Table, they don't have a limit to the number of people making reservations. We found out when we got there that there were a lot of other people who had a reservation at the same time that we did. We decided to wait and it took about 30 mins. We went on a Sunday morning at 11 AM. Oh and you have to wait outside.

We eat here for breakfast everytime we visit New York. The food is great, particularly the eggs Benedict, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great New York experience.
