Large portions, worth the wait? However once seated service is prompt. Beware, a reservation just puts you ahead on a wait list and you still need to wait at peak times. Hard for a disabled person as no place to " park" while waiting but instructed to " stand in line" by a counter.
I was very impressed by the service and the food. The booths are tight if you get seated in one which is my only complaint, I felt the table was like up against my chest the whole time and it made moving around to help my children eat a little difficult, but due to how great the service was, how fast the food came out, and how delicious it was, we would absolutely go back and I highly recommend it! We went to breakfast on our way to the Central Park Zoo and it was the perfect...
On every visit to NYC 5 friends from Oregon, Texas, Tennessee and Connecticut enjoy their last breakfast together at Carnegie Diner. Menu has many choices, food is delicious, hustle and bustle of the restaurant is fun, and the price is right. In November we plan to have dinner there one night before theater.
