came here for a special dinner and honestly the whole place feels really upscale from the moment you walk in. the atmosphere is beautiful without feeling too stiff, and the service was excellent all night. food was impressive too, every dish looked great and tasted even better. portions aren't huge, but the quality definitely stands out. cocktails were fantastic and probably some of the best i've had in a while. prices are definitely high, so it's not somewhere i'd go regularly, but for a celebration or date night it felt worth it. overall a really memorable experience and i'd gladly come back.

My experience at Casa Cruz was disastrous from start to finish. The service was terrible: the waiter was almost throwing the cutlery onto our table, and even took the Tabasco, salt, and pepper from a neighboring table while those guests were still eating, It felt incredibly cheap and awkward.
The atmosphere is completely dead — no vibe, no energy, nothing. The only nice thing about the place is the design, which tries to give a “luxury” vibe, but in reality it all feels very cheap.
And the food was just as bad. Everything was completely tasteless, except for an overwhelming amount of salt clearly added to compensate for the lack of flavor. I had to send my dish back and order something else, only to receive another plate that was just as bland and disappointing.
This place should be avoided at all costs.

Shockingly bad food. Pasta had no flavor and wasn’t fully cooked. The duck I couldn’t even eat a whole piece. Drinks finally came out after we already were served appetizers and my cutlery had old food on it that I had to give back. Booth seats with velvet looked stained and shabby. For the cost of the food and how terrible it was, we left saying how disappointed we were for a Birthday dinner to have such bad food. If you go here, don’t go for dinner, I’d just go for drinks. Never again.

my first time was about 2 year ago and i was very disappointed with the service then. the food was good, but the service was awful, and the bill had errors.
two year later i brought a large party, that wanted a fun ambience. i had a reservation time, we had to sit at the bar area for approx 30 mins before being seated, when we got to the table, it was not set up and we had to wait in the hallway for another 3 minutes or so.
If you are going for the ambience, it's not there. They no longer have any artwork on the walls, which was one of the reasons I brought this particular group. Rumor has it, the art partners, pulled out, I see why.
Wine list was decent, however 2 of the BASIC bottles i requested from the menu were not available. One of my guests had to reorder his main course 3x because the kitchen didn't communicate with the wait staff that they were out of POPULAR dishes at 9pm on a Saturday night.
second chance 2 years later, and no improvement. very disappointing.
