We were there for a Campari promotional event. Unsure what to expect, but the food element was interestingly paired with the 2 (included) Campari spritz drinks. Sadly, NO ONE left a gratuity for the staff except us (even though our waitress was not notable/worthy).
Slightly baffled by the softish reviews for this place. For me it was everything I'm looking for in a New York restaurant. Everything we were served, from the focaccia to the oysters to the bolognese, to the chocolate amaro sorbet was unfussy, exceptional and memorable. The service was perfect, low key, unobtrusive and friendly. You're well taken care of but not constantly pinged. Good value for the level of care and attention. I'll be back here, and soon!
It was a beautiful Saturday evening , so that meant busy busy busy. Waiting list were hrs long. Somehow we managed to be seated immediately here in the front dining area, which was perfect. We were greeted so kindly, staff there was super cool and funny. They made sure we were comfy and happy with our selections. Beautiful ambiance and aesthetic.
