Amazing service.

The chicken is incredibly moist and juicy, falls right off the bone. Great portions too.

Delicious and juicy chicken at reasonable prices. You eat the chicken with your hands with gloves so I might not go there on a date, but it’s great with friends. It’s very small and there’s not many tables. Not sure if they take reservations.

We had the Whole Chicken Combo that comes with 2 drinks and 2 sides for $29.99. Super tender and juicy chicken that falls off the bone with delicious scallion pancake and fried rice. Overall good value with quick and friendly service. Will definitely return.

This was probably the worst chicken I've ever had; I didnt even know chicken could be ruined but I stand corrected. This purports to be a centuries-old chicken dish from imperial China; my family is ethnic Chinese and we've never heard of this dish. That said, cauldron chicken is not roasted or fried or anything having to do with a flame being near a chicken -- it's chicken boiled to death until it's chicken mush. The texture is extremely unappealing -- like chicken-shaped mushy cotton. You don't need teeth to chew it -- and using a fork and knife is unnecessary because everything slides off like chicken mush. I took my mom here for dinner and it was so unappetizing that we couldn't finish a whole chicken, which was not a large bird. The side dishes were OK - we didn't get the set meal that came with 2 sides and 2 drinks, because the sides weren't enticing (instant ramen? white rice?). Our chicken came with a few pieces of cold blanched broccoli and we ordered the fried chicken wing appetizer (not included as a side) that was crunchy and well-seasoned and I recommend, and the cold cucumber side dish (actually an included side dish) that was way too oily. The chicken came with some spicy powder for dipping; the seasoning was good but not enough to save the texture of the meat.

The chicken here hits different! I'm telling you they are truly masters at what they are doing to make this chicken. I'm very particular about chicken and this by far was the most aromatic, moist and flavorful chicken I've had. Definitely a must try and add the dry seasoning it's chef's kiss!

Excellent value and great food. Whole chicken w two drinks and two appetizers for $30. Chicken was fresh plump and hot. Served w side of spices that kicked up the flavor to another level. Had the cucumber salad and fried rice both of which were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. Space is small and more of a takeout vibe a few tables for good measure. I will be back often.

Cute little hole in the wall! Chicken was excellent super tender fell right off the bone. The spicy dipping powder is amazing. We got the vegetable fried rice and scallion pancake. The flavor profiles on both were amazing. Best part about it was the whole meal with tax and tip was $40 which for NYC is unheard of.
