The place is amazing. It's small, but that makes it soo cozy. The food is ALWAYS good. Quality is controlled when so few people cook it, hahaha. There's a lot of menu options too.
Just go. Enjoy a peaceful meal. The older gentleman at the head of it is so nice too. He's 10% of the reason I'm such a repeat.
Mabo tofu noodle 🍜 was tasty rich flavors, felt like I ate Chinese and Japanese same time! 👌🏻 definitely visit again!

Cho-Ko is a cozy Japanese restaurant serving home-cooked meals. The friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features a range of dishes, including Mabo Tofu Ramen, which is described as flavorful and satisfying. The ramen, including options like Katsu Curry Chicken Ramen, is a highlight, with rich and creamy broths. The gyoza and chicken teriyaki are also highly praised. This charming eatery is great for a hearty meal, and is conveniently cash-only, with most meals under $15. The atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant is noted for being affordable and tasty, with a cozy vibe.
The restaurant is described as a humble, quiet, independently-owned spot, run by one older gentleman named Kei. When he is not greeting customers, he is cooking orders at the back. Customers can enjoy their ramen while watching life go by outside the window. Despite the simplicity, the food is tasty and affordable, with dishes like wontons, yakisoba, and steamed buns being highlights.
