One of the most chill spots in the LES, Alec is the best bartender I've ever had the pleasure to hang out with! Drinks are affordable(my mother has trained me not to say the word cheap) and served with perfect banter. You can hang outside, or play on the one pool table. I bring all of my out of town visitor's(they love it) and refer to the Boiler Room as the 'Cheers' of the gay bars. great dive with a lovely chill energy and lovely bartenders. often have gone on weeknights and it’s never too busy. strong, gay bar pour for very inexpensive drinks (~$6/ea for well drinks). hope to be able to keep going for a long

Such a cute and welcoming place! The people there seemed super friendly and the bartender was nice and helped us find other gay places in town to try out. And you can't beat $6 drinks. We will definitely be back.
