It was very good, I appreciated the crab scissors, some places don’t give any. It only had one corn on the cob but there was an egg and potatoes. We spent $63 crab deal plus an extra crab claw, honestly price is kind of high but it was enough for two people and we took some shrimp home. Next time I would get more corn. Sausage was good too. Coming back for sure. Thank you

The food was really enjoyable and flavorful, even though the service might have been a bit better—it's hard to tell with the cashier (male) who seemed off and didn't wanna answer our questions. Unfortunately, there were no lemons available for the seafood boil, but overall, I would go back with lemons tho 😊

I had the best seafood boil I’ve ever had!! Amazing prices, amazing service, amazing everythinggg 100/10. I’m an avid seafood boil enjoyer so trust me when I say the one I had was bliss. I only paid $45 (before tax and tip) for snow crab legs + lobster tail and they gave me an amazing portion of the crab legs + the corn and potatoes. Perfect spice level, I got Cajun medium! I will be back againnnn mwah thank you!

Horrible !!! Do not get food here . First food I had to throw away in NYC because it was so bad. Place felt dirty and atmosphere was horrible. I have never before bought food and had to throw it away !!! Stay away

Always consistently the best seafood boil, and the price of the city. The guys at the front are always super nice and they give you extra seasoning on the side if you want it.

This place has been on my list of places to try for awhile now. I got the Sample the Sea combo with the juicy special sauce and it was delicious. 😋 The portion size was perfect for 2 ppl. I will definitely be a repeat customer. The wait wasn't long and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I hate to bad mouth a small business but this needs to be said. Came to new york for 5 days for my partners 21st birthday and on the 2nd day we came to the Chubby Crab for dinner.
Woke up the next morning with severe sickness and diarrhoea from their food. Completely ruined the rest of his birthday trip and spent 2 days bed-bound. Avoid this place unless you want to get sick.
I do just want to add that we saw the shrimp had not been cleaned as they still had the poo pipe at the bottom of the tail and the crab meat was very fishy and did not taste right.
I hope this post at least helps someone else avoid getting ill.

We went to chubby crab several times before and everything was good, but this time when we place an order we got in trouble because of misunderstanding. The person who served us couldn't hear what my boyfriend order was and instead of shrimp pork rice He tried to give us 3 of those. Later we got one, but without shrimp. When my bf asked to add shrimp the person who served us came to our table almost yelling that my bf never said that he wanted shrimp with his rice.
