Went here with a friend. Place was empty on a Wednesday night. Pastas were tasty but place was unremarkable and it was warm with some flies. Looks neighborhood-y but wouldn't recommend if you are just passing through.

Love the easy going atmosphere, and the Focus is on the food. The food was great and I can't even remember having GF Pasta that tasted so good. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic Italian food in SOHO. Overall, the food is outstanding with a great selection of classic Italian dishes, and wines. The cacio e pepe is a standout. There is seating available outside, and a small park adjacent to the seating area that provides a great atmosphere for a meal. The staff were kind and gave great recommendations for dish options. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in SOHO.

This place is authentic Italian food. I asked the waiter how long the restaurant had been around, and he said 14 years. that'd how you know it's going to he hella good!

Great little Tuscan kitchen located in SOHO. Fresh pasta. Pappardelle Verdi with Italian sausage was amazing. Ravioli with wild boar another solid dish. Burrata and Nona’s meatballs were tasty starters. Reasonable wine list. Excellent service, David. Will be back!

Hidden gem. Real Italian, no fuss, no show. Feels like a neighborhood secret, kind of speakeasy, no tourists. Food is fresh, simple and full of flavor. Giacomo the owner is a true gentleman. Kind, welcoming and cares about every detail. You’ll want to go back.

My sister-in-law took my wife and I out to dinner. As a visitor to New York I had no clue where we were going, but assumed it was good. After a quick subway ride from Hell’s Kitchen to The Village we stumbled upon an unassuming door to the basement of an apartment building. You immediately walk into the bar. You are greeted by a man who is your host and server. He has a lot of energy, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His personality and the music in here is needed as being below ground level it would feel very dungeon like with a lifeless staff and melancholy music.

Now for the star of the show, the food. My family chose to eat family style. This was a great idea, because we got to try so much of the menu. We had a very unique spin on lasagna, but it was great, delicious ravioli, flavorful cacio e pepe. Everything was great, but one thing stood out amongst them all and that was the meatballs. I have had many meatballs throughout my life. My neighbor growing up was from Italy. I worked for a family run Italian restaurant. These are hands down the most flavorful meatballs I’ve ever had! It is a must try!

We also had the tiramisu. It was homemade and good.

I recommend this place as a nice date night or to bring a couple visiting town. The meatballs are a must. If you are vegan or vegetarian call the restaurant ahead of time to see if they can accommodate you.
