I wanted pasta. Homemade pasta sounded wonderful. I wanted something light. I got the ravioli with butter and Parmesan. The butter sauce was very thick and tasted more like a roux than a butter sauce. The ravioli was way way overcooked. What a shame.
The burrata was good.
The service was good.
The atmosphere is nice.
Better than the food I had.
I may have chosen the wrong item, but there shouldn’t be a wrong pasta item on the menu.
A nice Italian restaurant in NYC! Right by the Gramercy Theater. We walked in on a Tuesday evening with no wait at all. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. Reasonable prices for nice portions of food! My mom had the Homemade Fusilli Broccoli Rabe Sausage, and I had the Eggplant Parmigiana, and then split a crème brulé. Mom had the Hibiscus Margarita to start and a cappuccino to finish. Everything was so good! I definitely recommend this place for a nice meal before...
The pine nuts in the pesto with my rigatoni were a perfect pair for the wooden arches reaching overhead. Soft upbeat music and a pasta and wine lunch special that can't be beat.
