What an amazing Fathers Day Brunch! We were so excited for an Israeli breakfast, we just weren't expecting to be blown away by how great it was going to be!! Start with a Mezze platter, especially the Japanese Eggplant. A must is the Green Shakshuka-it's was extraordinary. The staff is warm and welcoming, attentive and respectful. Love, love, love Mackenzie!!! Run!!
The food is mediocre at best. The Salim were the most enjoyable. The daurade was ok with little taste served with limp asparagus and flavorless potatoes. The chicken schnitzel was fine but not outstanding, served with over salted undercooked French fries and an ok Israeli salad that was overdressed. The lemonades at $9 were overpriced, as were the entrees. The service was fast, and you got the impression that their whole purpose was turning tables.
Food is consistently good but menu has changed and is less creative and unique. Main criticism is that food is served quickly.Your waiter has to put in entire order at once . So you have a decent one hour meal but not as leisurely as you might like. Service is good.
