I saw a post online that they were struggling because of all the construction happening in front of this new location. As a long time Di Fara fan (been going to their Brooklyn location for 20 years), I wanted to go support. I ordered two slices, over $10, and the guy reheated my slices for so long, they became burnt toast, completely dry, and couldn’t even bend anymore, hard as a brick. People wonder if it's still good after Dom passed and the answer is yes. It's still the best and anyone who says otherwise is being contrarian. The best ingredients, the best recipe, and the best bake. There's nothing quite like it, though there are more rivals than ever these days. The last time I went, I don't think I got the best slices. Kind of a low traffic day and I think the slices had sat a little too long. Still better than 99% of pizza in the greatest pizza city in America.
A very nice addition to the original Brooklyn pizzeria, located across the street from the remodeled South Street Seaport.Pizza is thin with a lot of sauce. Plenty of seating including a bar upstairs.
