We loved the food and the ambiance. Great girls night for a table of three. Shared a number of veggie forward plates and got the salmon and Neptune burger. Shrimp ceviche also incredible flavor. Very delicious health conscious eating out, without feeling like we were being overly healthy. Also, milk river cocktail - get it!

We stumbled upon Dimes during the Canal Open Street fair and decided to sit down for dinner on a whim. The outdoor seating added a nice touch to the vibe, and service was friendly throughout. We had the miso chicken, salmon, shrimp ceviche, and Caesar salad. everything was fresh and tasty, though the ceviche was just okay. Portions were big and filling. They have a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, though not many cocktails on the menu but they’re happy to make something custom. Overall, a great spot for a casual, flavorful dinner with a good vibe.

A classic small plate menu, although the vegan options are quite skim. The kale salad a bit overpriced for what it is, but supposedly the sea food dishes were great. In no rush to go back.

poor service and mid cocktails

Fantastic brunch offering. Really appreciate the attentive server who checked all the ingredients for dietary restrictions. Everything we got was good especially the black sesame toast (no refined sugar) and the power bowl. The maca matcha was unique too.

Perfectly cooked salmon and accompaniments were bursting with flavor, and the collard greens were simple yet appetizing. Appreciated the friendly staff and Open Street vibe.

Opentable Diner

Have eating here before, came back because of the great food and laid back vibe. Food did not disappoint , unfortunately, the service did. The dinner service started out ok, as the night went on, it deteriorated, taking longer to get our waiters attention and drink refills. We ended up being the last table of the night so my husband asked for a to go bag. After a long wait, had to ask again. He was told by our waiter the other staff must have thrown it out. Our waiter was annoyed with him/us, not empathetic, or apologetic. An unfortunate ending to what started off as a lovely dinner. We live in the neighborhood and have lots of great dining options available to us.

Music was super strange; sounded like a sound bath and really killed the vibe. Recommend switching this up. We heard the table behind us also comment on the music too.

We love Dimes. Vibes are great, food is great, people are great. Lunch, brunch or dinner, it always fills the belly and soothes the soul. Highly recommended.

Had one dish here and it was extremely delicious, the Pozole. As someone who has had pozole in Sunset Park and mom&pop places in Brooklyn/Queens, I found it to be as delicious.

It’s an elevated version of what you might find elsewhere, but the flavors were still there and on point. Think: spiced, savory, slightly lime-y broth with delicious hominy (corn) and added sweetness from a sweet potato, along with shredded chicken. Greens on top to make it look pretty as well as giving some extra texture and flavor. A perfectly balanced dish!

Blonde waiter boy with the short hair was extremely rude, i got physically pushed aside on the way out as he wanted to pass without communicating anything beforehand. The latin fella was a sweetheart though.

It used to be healthy, delicious, and a cool scene. It's none of that anymore. Very disappointing.

We had dinner at 9 PM. The place had a very cool atmosphere and was busy in a good way. I really enjoyed my meal.
