Idk what they're doing back there but the food was INSANEEEEE. I mean it. My partner and I went to Spain in September and we have missed the explosion of flavors for an arguably reasonable price. We had the tuna tostada, trout salad, pork shoulder, and mussels. The service was also very chill and attentive. Not too cool for school like LA but like deff cool. She asked to clear the mussels soup that was left and I asked for more time because... I wasn't ready to part ways. If we were home, we would have been sluuurrpin that sauce. We finished with the vegan Dulce the leche which was another banger. 10/10. Brb gonna try to become a regular

DIMES SQUARE HC

Ya Yay

So is this what people are referring to when they say “dimes square”? The food is just alright. The black tahini toast I got was quite stale and no larger than my hand — not really worth $8. My friend’s salad also seemed overpriced. The vibes are good inside, don’t get me wrong; the branding and decor are on point. However, I just don’t see the hype.

We loved the food and the ambiance. Great girls night for a table of three. Shared a number of veggie forward plates and got the salmon and Neptune burger. Shrimp ceviche also incredible flavor. Very delicious health conscious eating out, without feeling like we were being overly healthy. Also, milk river cocktail - get it!

We stumbled upon Dimes during the Canal Open Street fair and decided to sit down for dinner on a whim. The outdoor seating added a nice touch to the vibe, and service was friendly throughout. We had the miso chicken, salmon, shrimp ceviche, and Caesar salad. everything was fresh and tasty, though the ceviche was just okay. Portions were big and filling. They have a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, though not many cocktails on the menu but they’re happy to make something custom. Overall, a great spot for a casual, flavorful dinner with a good vibe.

Love, love, love this place. Had it not been for Hotel Mimosa, I would not have known about this restaurant/diner, so special thanks to them. My husband and I visited twice out of our 3 mornings in NYC. We tried several different things, including breakfast tacos, breakfast sandwiches, the porridge, the ginger-tumeric drink, and delicious drip coffee and macchiato. While the food was very delicious, I was most impressed by the staff, they were GREAT!! You are lucky to have such wonderful, patient, and helpful staff!! Please continue to acknowledge them for their hard work :)

A classic small plate menu, although the vegan options are quite skim. The kale salad a bit overpriced for what it is, but supposedly the sea food dishes were great. In no rush to go back.
