This place is famous for a reason. The lasagna is as good as people say. But other dishes are excellent too. Try the cauliflower with Frank's Hot Sauce. And the calamari with fried rice. And an especially yummy Tiramisu.

Service and drinks are great. But Food is mediocre at best - everything is overly salted and heavy. We tried BBQ calamari, garlic flat bread, muscles and chicken pasta. The best thing is the tiramisu. Would not come back, the place is over hyped.

Best elevated Italian-American food in NYC. The lasagna is famous, but dont miss the calamari, mussel pasta, the pork shoulder, and the lobster (if you are looking to splurge). Service is amazing!

Tried the TikTok viral restaurant. It used to be a Michelin one-star in 2021 and 2022. Although it has lost its Michelin star last year, I still think it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC so far. Had a fantastic experience here! The salad turned out to be a game-changer. As someone who typically shies away from salads, Don Angie's version won me over with its unique flavors and freshness. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Don Angie lived up to its viral acclaim. My friend and I walked in at 9:15 pm, and we got seated in 20 minutes!! Strongly recommend this way of dining.

**Super hard judge here**The fact that Don Angie's isn't a MINIMUM of a 4.8 on here goes to show you cannot trust the publics review. The creativity to make dishes uniquely their own is awesome.Highly suggest:---stuffed garlic flat bread---chrysanthemum salad---japense sweet potatoes---sourough pasta cacciatore---lasagna---black coco tiramasu

It’s tight and loud and fun. Food is great but slightly below expectation, and I had high expectations. Lasagna is a must and the salad on special. Too loud and too crowded, sat at the

Wanted to take my wife for a great experience. When we showed up we were told we were getting seated out in the street in the Booths they set up for covid. I have eaten at this restaurant 5 times and all times the food was great but this cold grotesque outhouse killed the experience for both of us. Get with the program covid is over deblasio has more common sense than the owners of this place to open up indoor dinning. Which means stop being a greedy wanna be Michelin star restaurant and get rid of the shanty town dining booths in the street and sit people inside like humans

First and foremost, amazing staff, extremely friendly. I was in town for the NYC Boat Show, but had learned about Don Angie's via the Marriott / Phil Rosenthal Bonvoy experience (Huge Feed Phil Fan). So, I thought I would try Don Angie's. First attempt, I was unable to be seated and reservations were not available. I went back the second night, again reservations were not available. The host Daniel recognized me from the previous night. We chatted for a few then was told to just hang tight. 30 min later, I had a seat at the bar. Lydia was my server, I ordered the salad and lasagna for two. Absolutely blown away! The food was 100% worth it, but paired with an amazing staff and I will recommend this restaurant to anyone that is headed to NYC. I'll be back in town around Thanksgiving will for sure be making a reservation! Thank you to everyone at Don Angie's for an exceptional experience.
