Horrible service, totally rude and unhelpful cashier consultant at this sushi bar (location 2072 Frederick Douglass Blvd New York NY 10026) today August 8th 2024 around 5:30PM I went to pick up and waited two hours for my order to be prepared for take out. When I told him to give me my package please 'cause I have to go, he looked at me very agressively, gave me such a rude, aggressive and tactless answer that how I did I dare bother him, he was on phone and told me I had to continue waiting him, he could just give me my order and then continue his bussines easily, it would take 2sec, but he prefered assault me that way, thank God I am very calm and polite person and I don't like to escalate the situation, I was ashamed instead of him, such people should not be employed in the service sector, especially mentally unbalanced people should not have relations with customers. I have question did he even pass the interview before being hired? I highly doubt this branch employs a mentally unhealthy person, he is Asian male, tall, about 25 to 30 years old, wearing black clothes. be y'll careful with him!

My go to takeout sushi place. They have great 2 roll and 3 roll specials.
This is a terrific and so convenient takeout sushi place in Harlem. Average middle of the road fare, nothing fancy, but fresh, tasty, reasonably priced and reliable. Been ordering there for several years about once every 10 days or so. Never disappointed.

I got takoyaki and 3 rolls of sushi with miso soup. The takoyaki was mushi with an extremely hard small piece of octopus and soggy lettuce on it (lettuce isn't even in takoyaki it should be green onion). The sushi was ok for the price, the fish was fresh. The miso soup is inedible, doesn't resemble miso soup at all as it is very light in color and has a strange odor and taste.

Most people would assume the wait is an issue (I'm speculating) but this ain't grocery store where there's a corner that says "sushi".The rolls were very good and the sashimi was fresh and cut well at good temperature. The sushi was not over cooked . I plan to go back again for further analysis ?
