TIP: ORDER OVER THE PHONE AHEAD OF TIME.I love these guys, they are like family. If you give respect and kindness you get it back don’t walk in thinking you own the place. They have treated me, my mother and sister like their own for years now. The two new cooks are a different story but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. As although it costs more here than at a Bodega, the choices are much greater and the quality is higher. Also have great baked goods if you want to splurge on dessert instead of being good with some fruit
Our apartment was a block away from the Amish market. Open from 6am to 11pm, they are selling fresh food (fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, diary...) and everything you can think of (beverage, snacks,...). Only thing missing is wine.
