If you’re looking for food that passes as edible, go here. Google rates the food 10-20$ per person which is technically correct, but if you add their mediocre, dry rice they add an extra 10$ per bowl. I wish they’d told our party before ordering rice because typically a side of rice is under 5$; 10$ is just far too expensive for the quality. Shanghai Villa is a fantastic family-owned restaurant with incredible food and genuinely kind people. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful small business!
I’ve been coming here since before the name change, and it’s still one of my favorite spots for vegan Chinese food. The flavors hit every time, and the menu has a ton of great options. It’s nice to see they’ve kept the same quality even with the new name. Super chill vibes, friendly staff, and always a solid meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into tasty plant-based food or otherwise the menu has something for everyone.
