I recently popped into this coffee shop in Flatiron. The atmosphere is fun. Plenty of seating. Professional equipment. The branding pops. I just wanted a snack, no coffee. It was one barista working there and usually in NYC a solo barista means surely attitude. This barista was friendly and her vibe was chill. She suggested the olive bundt cake. With that service I decided to try their coffee. Immediately, I enjoyed my espresso. It was well balanced and flavorful. I'll be back definitely. The staff made me feel welcome and the cake was delicious!!!!!

Probably one of the best coffee shops I've ever had the pleasure of visiting in the area. The place has the best vanilla iced latte's i've ever had. The service is great, the people are super friendly anytime I come in. I don't live far from the place, so I do come here often. I highly recommend coming here if you love coffee as much as I do!

stumbled open this quiet coffee shop on my trip and it was some of the best vanilla iced lattes i've ever had. it was the perfect amount of sweetness and my friend enjoyed the americano as well.

As a Melbourne local can’t stand American coffee do always on the look out for strong flavourful but not bitter expresó. Gumption fits the bill perfectly. A little expensive like everything in NYC but became a daily visit while we herd and the coffee was beautifully consistent.

I've been there three times now. One time the espresso machine was broken, and most recently the drip coffee had grounds in the bottom of the cup. I really wanted this place to be good, but they can't seem to execute on fundamentals, and there are so many better options nearby.

I’m one of those Aussies who hunts around for good coffee in the US and Gumption fits the bill! My oat milk flat white was great. I’d be happy to walk many blocks for one this good. Also had a croissant but it was not as good. So I’d skip that but definitely go for the coffee.
