We happened on this place wandering down Mott Street on Chinese New Year, after accidentally passing by the place I originally had in mind. Most of the eateries at the beginning of the block had lines outside, but Happy Malaysia didn't. The setup is bright and clean but basic - a few tables and a pickup window below street level, and one of those post-pandemic outdoor dining booth out front, disposable dishes. Highly recommended! Tastes like home-cooked food. I especially love the sambal, you can pair it with anything! Keep up the good job ? no photo — too good and forgot to snap a pic ?
