This is a very neat restaurant. Tasty cakes. It is not a light cake in case you’re looking for one. Overall is a nice experience!
Lunch special: seafood salad was fresh, clean.
Ordered a slice of cake and a pot of tea to share with my partner, but upon serving they only brought one tea cup. As this was a sizable pot, I asked for a second tea cup, but I was told that one tea cup per pot was their company policy. I discussed the issue with the manager, who seemed embarrassed about the situation, but no solution was offered. Given the absence of hospitality, we left.
Get their seasonal cakes. All are delicious!
Ambiance 5/5
Best cake I’ve ever had. Great brunch set and vibes.
Initially the impression here was amazing, the cakes were delicious and we were enjoying the service. Until my friend started having an allergic reaction, we made sure before eating check the ingredients in all our cakes to make sure that we didn’t order anything she was allergic to. Turns out that for “entertainment” they cut all of the cakes with the same knife. The ingredient that my friend is allergic to is also in one of the cakes that they are actively cutting and serving due to popularity. Beware those with allergies.
FOOD ALLERGY ALERT. They use they same knife to cut all the cakes . My cousin carefully reviewed the menu and all 4 of us chose a cake without kiwi because of her allergy but although she was responsible the staff was not. They have a cake that contains kiwi which cross contaminated from a cake we did not order. She broke out in hives all over. The carelessness gets them a 1 star. Food allergies can be deadly.
Disappointed. I love Harbs and the cakes and teas they serve, but this location is cheap with their slices. I just got the green tea mousse cake to take home and its a significantly small slice compared to the one I usually go to on 9th Ave. I don't know if that's just for the to-go buyers but I'm not happy.
more than cake, has beautiful fresh salads and omelettes. service good

Horrible manners! Sat with a friend to split a cake slice and were asked to leave if not ordering a slice each. Never going back here and hope they fail their business.
Have the Mille crepes and the caramel walnuts crepes. The crepes is different from lady m. The the walnuts crepe is too bitter... The melon and custard part in the Mille crepes is amazing.
Great lunch spot. Their lunch set special (coffee/tea, sandwich/salad, and cake) is a great value. Sandwiches are on Texas style toast and are delicious. I was really impressed with the whole meal.
Pricey but worth it if you enjoy Asian style cakes (fluffy and not overly sweet). The ones in Japan are better but this comes very close. It's a great place to unwind with a pot of tea as well - great for catching up with friends or tsukiau / deeto.
Other than 1-2 steps at the front door, the place is level and buggy / stroller friendly. Kids ok. Popular with locals.
