About Noz Market

Noz Market is a restaurant that offers a solid handroll counter with limited standing-only spots. It provides high-quality sushi at reasonable prices, with a happy hour from 2-5 pm (Monday to Friday) where most rolls are $10. The chef, Taka-san, offers an authentic sushi experience, including à la carte and tasting menu options. The bento is also available for takeout. The sushi is fresh and skillfully prepared, with perfectly toasted nori and well-seasoned rice. Customers have described the sushi as some of the best they have ever had.

The restaurant is known for its large cuts of fish that wrap all the way around the rice, and the nigiri is seasoned perfectly with precision. The two omakase options are reasonably priced, and customers can add extra pieces at the end of the experience. The happy hour is worth checking out, with packed handrolls for $10 that are fresh and balanced. The service is great, and the atmosphere is minimalist and modern yet inspired by Japanese tradition.

Recent reviews highlight the overall excellence of the food, service, and attention to detail, with some describing the Chef’s omakase as mesmerizing performance art. However, the intimate atmosphere at Noz 17 is different from Noz Market, as noise from babies and strollers can make it less relaxing for those seeking a quieter experience. The meals are described as exquisite and classic in style, though some find the value for money to be expensive with smaller portions.

We sat at the bar and did the smaller of the two omakase. The fish was delicious and the price is very reasonable. As others have mentioned, it does feel a bit rushed.
Standing bar for amazing hand rolls ❤
Don't have dinner past 7:30 on Sunday nights . After sitting down at 8:00 (on time) we were informed that the kitchen was closing at 8:45 and that we had to finish ordering - including dessert - when we were in the middle of our dinner. We ordered sorbet. They brought it out immediately as if the laws of thermodynamics and melting do not apply. A guest asked if they could have another scoop. The answer was no. If you are going to accept reservations at 8:00 - you should...read full review
