I grew up a block from Hasaki, and haven’t been back to the city in a few years. I am so happy to say this place has not changed. Perfect food, perfect service and perfect atmosphere. A gem, and a real timeless East Village experience. There are not many left.
Amazing. Can’t believe this place isn’t packed. Perfect sushi. Fresh fish just the right temp, subtle topings, eat with fingers. Attentive service and beautiful omakase bar. Just right !!

Everything was so delicate, it felt like a warm hug. Get the supplements. Chef Naoto is very hospitable. Hidden gem maybe that’s why it hasn’t gone viral, everyone is gatekeeping.
