Very disappointed about the breakfast
the hot savory soy milk was over seasoned and overly curdled, radish cake had an unpleasant texture.

First off, I am just reviewing the breakfast menu. This place has been on my list for years and I finally managed to come and try it, especially with the somewhat limited availability of Taiwanese breakfast in the city. What a disappointment. What Taiwanese breakfast place offers NO TEA on the menu? We ordered the savory soy milk, the fan Tuan, and radish cake. I’m not sure if they are trying to be authentic or have a modern take but it’s missing both marks. The savory soy milk was over seasoned with dashi powder, like ramen levels of saltiness, and was 90% soup base with a thin layer of curdled soy milk on top. The fan tuan was underwhelming with pork floss and you tiao as the only ingredients in it, no zha cai, egg or anything else to make it remotely flavorful. The radish cake was super thick and therefore undercooked, with the bulk of the cake tasting really mushy and mealy with no nuanced texture I’m expecting from a radish cake.
I will come back and try the beef noodle soup to try and hopefully feel better about this place, but if you’re looking for Taiwanese breakfast, Ho Foods delivered way too low from all its instagram and TikTok hype.

The service is really bad here, do not come here for take out or in person dining. The server who is a white lady has very bad attitude and does not want to serve us at all.

Food is great, location is cozy for small groups, ambiance is mixed. Beef noodle soup is my recommendation.

Was there during opening hours but the place was closed. No note. Wouldn’t answer the phone either.
This place is so cute! The fan tuan was delicious! The radish cake was good but needed to be crispier. The meat with rice was way too fatty and oily, there was barely any meat.

Beef noodle soup was very hearty and comforting, and tasted very authentic! Dining area was small though and there can be a long wait.

Love the space and the small menu. The fan tuan was awesome and the soy milk is a must. The beef noodle was okay... wish it had a stronger kick!

The savory soy milk is a surprise for those unfamiliar with the dish - warm, comforting and delightfully savory. The sweet, cold soy milk is equally delicious and has become a must-try for me when the weather warms up. The scallion pancake was also a great addition to the meal. It wasn’t too greasy and had a wonderful lamination.

this place went to shambles after ownership changed.
Noodle quality is not the same and they barely give you any beef for the prices that they charge.
Disappointed with ho things turned out.
Not sure where they're getting their noodles from but its completely different and the biggest distingushing factor of good beef noodle soup. Wish you guys didn't take shortcuts.
Really wanted to give this a 5 but everything left more to be desired. Where are the pickled green mustard greens in the fan tuan! So much good and so close to being great. Soy milk was rich. Best thing we had. Radish cake had great flavour but could’ve been crispier. Scallion pancakes were ok.
Flavor is homey but still lacking, very overpriced for the small portion. Service really needs improvement: we notified them my friend is allergic to egg but he still got the egg in his dish, we received the wrong soy milk order but no one fixed it. Better prices and flavor in Chinatown. Overall disappointing tbh :/.
