I wrote this review in Italian and Spanish because the vibe was very off at this restaurant. The food is excellent but again the vibe was off. This location is more for couples only and their regulars. Not tourists. As visitors we spent $50 USD per person. The dinner was excellent, the location phenomenal, but the service and atmosphere were a little off. This place is more suited to couples and regulars period. It is not very suitable for tourists or families with small children. I went with my teenage boys and the atmosphere was not good. However, I've seen other customers receive great customer service, so I guess it all depends on the waiters. The food was excellent, the location phenomenal, but the service and atmosphere were something disappointing. However, other customers will receive excellent service, so I assume that everything depends on the guests.

Excellent food and service. Tons of options for vegetarian and vegans! The pomegranate drink was great. The best dish was ravioli with green peas gravy. They can actually elevate the spice level, which was surprisingly good ?.

It is a wonderful, cozy neighborhood place and a great choice if you are in the area. The food and wines are very good and the owners are very nice. I'd love them to open in my 'hood.

A perfect dining experience from start to finish. Welcoming staff and expert service made this an unexpected treat. My husband and I started by sharing the special salad chock full of blueberries, blackberries, pomegranate and hazelnuts. For our entrees, he opted for the well prepared black bass special, I enjoyed the pappardelle with sausage ragu. We shared the fresh fruit pastry shell with gelato - a beautiful creation and the perfect way to end our meal. Such a lovely find - can't wait to return.

I love this place. In a city with thousands of restaurants to choose from this place has not only top. Itch food but top notch service and it's definitely my new go to place. You just get the veal ravioli!!!

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner! The service was 10/10 — thank you, Leo, for taking such good care of us! We sat in their enclosed patio area with our small dog and they were so accommodating. The food is delicious as well! Generous portions and everything tasted so fresh and the pasta was piping hot when it came out (and cooked perfectly al dente). We had two salads to start and then the pappardelle and spaghetti as our mains. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We look forward to returning soon.

This was our first time here and we lucked out. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and the cauliflower puree was delicious. I ordered a side of gluten-free penne with tomato sauce which was very tasteful. My friend had a caesar salad and ravioli with veal and both were delicious. The waiters were very attentive and everything arrived on time. We will be back.

Major find. Went on a whim as it was a block from the theater we were going to after. Amazing meal. We split the ribeye and the veal ravioli and they were both amazing. Service was exceptional. Can't wait to go back!

Having just returned from Sicily, I was skeptical about going to an Italian, let alone a Sicilian, restaurant too close to memory of true Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised about this restaurant and would definitely return. The table bread could use some improvement, but aside from that, the fava bean purée was excellent, the pasta cooked perfectly al dente. The ravioli were spectacular. Really great sage flavor. We were at a table “outside” and it was easy to have a conversation and was warm. Loved it. I'll definitely be back

We picked this restaurant because of the reviews (very good), its location (51st and 10th is a 10 minute walk to most Broadway theaters but without the crowds in that area), and we had the option of outdoor seating. The reviews were correct - my homemade pasta was excellent and my husband's pork chop with an apricot sauce was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the outdoor seating was very comfortable in a mostly enclosed space with heaters. We will be returning soon!

The wait staff were attentive and served our meal at a comfortable pace - We were never waiting too long for the next course - nor did we ever feel rushed. All three of us in my dining party enjoyed our meals. First time visitor to Il Melograno but I suspect it won't be my last visit there. I definitely recommend this establishment.

Had a wonderful evening here. Great food nice servers I don't recall the noise level, but it certainly wasn't too loud and we could enjoy nice conversation. It was small and cozy would definitely recommend.

A very solid neighborhood Italian restaurant, also convenient to MCC Theater. Some things were under seasoned, but there were some very interesting choices too. The Mucci Siciliano is worth trying, particularly putting some of the minced sundried tomato and oil topping (given with the bread) on the pureed fava beans.

We had the most lovely dinner here in between shows. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. We only regret that we didn't have the time or the room for dessert! We'll have to come back here when we have more time.
