Il Tinello is a shining gem in the crown of this city's robust food scene. Food, drinks, apps, experience are completely unmatched. The owner Benny is beyond hospitable - He's flat out lovely. They take care of each person that comes in and keeps them coming back.

Our entire family was beyond thrilled with the food and service as we celebrated our mom's 92nd birthday! Caesar salad prepared table side was the best we ever had ! No detail was overlooked by the attentive staff including preparing a second entree for my mom who asked to take her leftovers home and were mistakenly thrown out! First class in every way!

First time back sine this place was Grifone. Upon arrival, was sat at my old table. I was not even seated when I was asked what I would like to drink. I would have preferred to have been seated first. Was with 2 other friends. My meal was pretty decent. I ordered the scallops on toast to start. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 the best I would rate them a 9. Then I ordered one of my old favorites at Grifone; spaghetti carbonara. If I did not know better I would have bet that the chef was from the old place. Overall the dish was spectacular. Both of my friends also enjoyed their respective meals as well.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and served with class and respect. The food, drinks, and wine was wonderful and the Caesar salad is the best we've ever had

Our family very much enjoyed Il Tinello. We liked all the dishes we ordered, and, as others have said, the restaurant has a real nice ambiance. Very attentive service. My only very small complaint is that one of our waiters was a little too aggressive selling us wine. But, of course, in the end I wasn't unhappy when I succumbed and ordered the half bottle rather than a single glass :)

It was everything we expected. The waiters were very responsive to our every need . The food was delicious. I had the Osso Buco and they were the best ever I tasted. The house wines were very good and complicated the authentic Italian cooking. We would return.

At my friend's request for a long overdue catch up at an Italian restaurant, I recommend that we visit Il Tinello since it was on my to visit list. I made a reservation on the website, arrived at exactly 6:30pm, was well greeted and quickly sat down at our table. Within few minutes the waiter was at the table taking our drink order and brought us fresh bread, on the house a portion of bruschetta and a plate of marinated eggplant & hot peppers. The place is quaint, modern, clean and fairly classic Italian decor. The atmosphere was quiet which was nice to talk but it did get lost as the night went on (almost too loud). My friend & I decided to share everything because we wanted the table made cacio e pepe pasta but also protein which we ended deciding on veal parm. The atmosphere was vibrant and we just enjoyed our conversation as we watch the waiter prepare our pasta then served us. I would admit that it is not your typical cacio e pepe, it has a lot more ingredients and richer than your typical version, but very tasty and creamy. The veal parm was up to the standard! Very tender and light. I do confess that I had to add salt and ask for black pepper to add more flavor. All in all, a very delightful and delicious experience. Definitely would go back!

It's a nice place to go for a special occasion. It's a bit pricey. They did not let me substitute veggie for pasta and charged $18 for a tiny side of spaghetti. Other than that it was good food and service

This place is a must if you're in the city. The staff are kind and attentive, and eager to serve. The ambiance is *chefs kiss*. Perfect bistro-type setting with a low noise level which made conversation nice. Ray was our server, and he was nothing short of marvelous. He had the best recommendations on wine and food. I'll go back every time I'm in the city.

This restaurant is one of the best! From the moment you step inside you're greeted with a warm welcome and amazing service. The bartender, Arta is amazing, friendly and always makes sure your glass is not empty. The food is delicious and fresh. The specials menu always has delectable courses. And the table side made dishes... so delicious and wonderful to see your food made with such preciseness and presentation. One of my top favorite restaurants to have lunch or dinner!

My uncle chose this place for dinner based on a recommendation and it was absolutely fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere of the place was great. My favorite items are the spicy calamari, the creamy pasta with peas (not sure of the actual name of the dish) and the tiramisu. I will say that it does get a bit warm in there once it gets busy due to the size of the place and all the table side cooking they do, so you just gotta wear something lightweight. I highly recommend coming here if you want a fantastic dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, you feel incredibly welcome. The ambiance fantastic. Benny and Arta provide the best service and make every time feel like you’re coming to a home away from home. I haven’t even gotten to the food..amazing. The burrata is the real deal, creamy, delicious, mouthwatering. The branzino—hands down the best I ever had and they finish it off from the whole fish table side!! If you haven’t been or are considering, GO!! You will not be disappointed!
