Our best meal in NYC (at least on this trip). Just be sure to ask for mild-medium spice (unless you're hardcore) ! Hard to beat NYC for Thai (and most other world cuisines). A bit pricier than we expected, but very authentic.
My experience with Jaiya can be summarized as follows: don't get the mild, there's so many more flavors to be experienced if you're willing to explore with your palate. Get the fish, it's a must-have. Noodles of your preference as an accompaniment will work great too!
We have been eating at Jaiya for over a decade now, and the experience has always been amazing. Tom Yum Soup is an amazing starter, we have been getting it every time we dine there. Another delicious starter is the papaya salad. For our main meal, we ordered Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry, which were all amazing.
