The fact that this place only has 500 ratings shows you had bad popular taste is. THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA IN NEW YORK CITY. Ok, so you wait 15-20 minutes on a busy night for the Sausage broccoli rabe pie, but it's worth it. You should never want the timing faster. Great bartender and I love the tall draft glasses. That's the way family style pizza is done. Perfecto.

Man oh man - I was brought here on feverish recommendation so expectations were high.I'm not a fan of super thin, nearly cracker style pizza however, I did like rubirosa a lot (their sister joint) so nevertheless I was excited.I walked out of that restaurant feeling like I just went back in time to when things were simple and food was amazing.This place is elite af - right up there with lucali'sBoth are on God TierThe sauce here though was bliss - the original pie was my favorite and next was the tri pieWe ordered 2 pies (both were the 16 inchers) and a small 10 inch pepp for me which was also fire as it was pepp layered onto their original pie so the flavors were perfect.Highly recommend, food was bomb, service was great and attentive and super friendly, very much family style vibes and the atmosphere overall is like being in goodfellas hahaElite af and I'll be back for sure!
This is okay pizza. Because I make my own pizza dough, I can tell this dough isn't fresh. It was $30 for a large cheese which I think was high for the quality of the food. Not sure how this place got 4.5 stars. For real?

One of the best meals I had this trip to NYC! My new go to pizza joint in town. They beautifully refurbished Lanza's, even preserving the 100 year old wall murals and stained glass windows. Vibes for days. I love love love it. Dark wood bar is gorgeous. We had the Margherita pizza and a vodka pasta (sub the chicken for their homemade sausage). Couldn't ask for better. I love this style of ultra thin Napoletana pizza, the thinner the better. The sauce is the perfect balance of subtle sweetness and acidity. The pasta! So great. The staff was incredibly cool, great and fast service. I'm a big fan.
